Herzliya Railway Station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת הרצליה, Taḥanat HaRakevet Herzliya) is an Israel Railways passenger station located in the city of Herzliya. The station has 3 platforms with a design which can accommodate a fourth platform in the future. When the Ayalon Highway will be extended past the station northwards (as part of the Route 531 project), the platforms will lie contained in the median of the highway, like the train stations in Tel Aviv.
It was built in the 2000s to replace the older station which was opened on October 23, 1989 that was located a few hundred meters to the south of the present location. The old station was itself a reconstruction of the original station, built in 1953 together with the Coastal Railway. Most of the trains which stop at the station are suburban trains on the Binyamina/Netanya - Tel Aviv - Rehovot/Ashkelon line. In the future, it will also be a part of a new circular route (Sharon Railway) that will serve the city of Ra'annana to the northeast. Currently this railway loop is partially built and serves the Beni Brak, Petah Tiqva, Rosh Ha-Ayin, Kfar sava and Hod Hasharon stations. The missing section of the loop (from east of Ra'annana to the Coastal railway) will be built as part of the Route 531 construction project.
